Are daughters really a curse ???

First of all I ll say .. “ I DON’T BELIVE IT SO” not jst becz im a daughter.. its becz of wt I knw and see and feel..

Lets see.. females are categorized as the most weakest creatures on earth.. bt are they really weak ? now why are they called that way.. or categorized in that manner..? I v tried to come up with so many reasons..bt it all ends up with .. “ females are not physically strong as males..” related to humans.. women are physically weaker than Men.. not all the time.. bt at least 90%.. so is it why they are been treated like dirt at times? Is it why thy r been used ? tken advantage of ?

Is it why fathers don’t like daughters? What abt mothers ?

It is said that a boy should be there in the family to keep the hierarchy goin.. ? no son.. no life.. some belived that ..n some stil do… hmm.. now isn’t if funny.. whn kings were ruling the countries.. they hoped n prayed for a boy to be born to their queens ? n how many times they ve regret that they don’t hv a son in da family to be da next crowned prince ? how many times have u heard a Queen ruled the country.. not many I suppose..

A daughter is suppose to be given away with a BIG dowry.. ok its not my theory.. bt its wat ppl mostly da Asians belive.. specially in India.. they in many instances have burned their daughter in laws to death cz of such disputes.. and that is a burden for the parents too .. specially da fathers.. cz thy are the breadwinners .. so they hve to look aftr their family…

Protection.. hmm… a BIG word n a huge responsibility.. isn’t it.. fathers are suppose to protect their children.. and daughters specially in that manner.. they are suppose to bring their daughters up with no baggage.. with no black spots.. ( no not the ones u can vanish with fair n lovely.. hikhik..) … so are the fathers who dsnt like daughters are AFRAID of such responsibilities ???

Why do they don’t like daughters ? easy .. they don’t want their daughters to go tro such miseries..as I hv mentioned above..
There can be more reasons for why daughers are treated that way.. bt I gus ppl already knw it..

Bt I hve to tel this to you..

I am a daughter.. n i knw wat I m talking abt whn I say daughters are not a curse.. they r the ones who brings joy to you.. they are the ones who makes you a family.. they r the link that bonds you together..

Wat abt that spcial daughter ? ?
She is the one who gave birth to you . without her you r NO one .. you wil never be in this world even to criticize wat I say if it wasn’t for her.. she is life you are breathing.. and She is a daughter to someone.. your existence depended on her.. yea… I m talking abt ur mom.. wil u b here if it aint for her ?

Ok.. writing a new post after.. hmm… da Freedom.. yei.. we won da war against terrorism.. hik hik.. yea.. yea.. as Americans say.. bt hv we really won it ? or is it jst a phase ?

As raised by many, how did da terrorist errr.. I dnt lyk to call him a leader..bt lets say Prabhakaran died ? was he captured? Or was he killed in action ? let me dot down the theories which I v heard so far..

Some say that he was captured n was tourchered n then killed in his own battle field.. n some say that he was captured and brought to Colombo.. and let da president see him and then brought back to vanni and then killed.. ahem.. now tht is a big story isn’t it? Ok wtever the theories are im sure he was captured.. wel I belve that.. n was killed.. with all da rage in their mind.. im sure our guys have shot til the magazine is over.. cz I doubt that ny part of his brain is left.. Brains blow out ppl.. bottom line is that he is Dead n Gone..

As Sri Lankans we never celebrate a death of a person.. ever.. bt I rembt twice in my life time ppl did celebrate .. one is that da death of President Premadasa.. I was small back then.. (stil am.. hik hik.. ) … n rembr how ppl lit crackers and all … n da 2nd instance is da death of Prabha.. .. isn’t it grt tht we lived to see this day ?

Im guessing now only the real war starts.. I mean.. I hope the gvt hv future plans for the displaced in those areas.. if not yea.. true.. another reble wil be born.. so lets hope for the best shall we..

War secrets.. man I d lv to knw those.. bt I do hv a theory that wt u don’t kwn wont hurt u .. n I this case.. wt u don’t knw wont kill u.. cz knowing UNWANTED secrets means yea. U might ended up headless.. :P... come to think of it knowing them ALL isn’t gonna cheer us in life.. we wil be regretting.. feeling sad.. mad.. angry. …

I do dearly feel so grateful and honor our brave soldiers who fought for us.. they died for us.. the went handicapped cz of us.. they lost their families.. loved ones for us… wonder how a soldier can do all that and stil live as they do now..

I knw its not the picture we all see.. media .. DO lie.. tell tailing do happen.. and stil we belve wt we want to belve .. I hope we all believe in one thing and its peace for SL til this land exists.. !!

I hope the brave guys who lost their lives may find peace .. I hope the ones who got handicapped wil find the strength to survive.. I hope our ppl wil NEVER forgt wat and how SL was and how it will be in future… !!
