Since I have a little free time these days I get a chance to watch most of the forensic/ detective stuff on Fox Crime. ..well my all time favorite is CSI (Crime Scene Investigation). But lately took an interest in watching Dextor.. yea the story about the serial killer..
Dextor Morgen works as the forensic investigator attached to Miami PD. The only difference is that he kills people.. not just ordinary people.. bt the ones who have committed crime.. well he chose to dissect the body parts, wrap them in disposal bags and dump them in the sea.. which were later tumbled upon by some treasure hunting crew.. oh well.. Dex is about to get screwed up.. but hey.. I’m guessing he will find his way..
That is just a story but what about in real life ? ever hear of the Serial killer named Zodiac ? seen the movie ? I don’t know why he killed but it’s the after math of his crimes made me wonder.. it seemed that he randomly selected his victims, and the funny thing is after words he sends a letter to the PD with the details of how he did it … search the web with “Zodiac Killer” and you will find out what im talking about.. yea, there is a sketch of him given by a stabbed victim who survived his attacks.. it was obvious that he wanted the media to make a movie about him and his work and it came true.. “ I want you to make a movie about me one day.. and im waiting to see who plays my role” – Creepy.. !
Well im guessing that he is someone who might be in the vicinity, not hiding, may be someone who is out there right in front in plain sight.. who knows.. wel who cares..
FYI – he was never found or captured.. n don’t worry he isn’t in ur back yard.. so sleep tight..
Why do people kill ? I can think of few reasons as to why.
1. To protect themselves
2. To find pleasure in it / adrenaline rush
3. To get revenge or avenge someone’s death ..
4. To become famous which falls under Mentally Ill category
5. Last but not least doing it under the influence of liquor or drugs for no good reason..
I don’t think I need to explain the above categories to any of you… but yes I would like to get inside of a serial killers mind just to find out what really drove them to such extremes .
No one is born a killer/ murderer.. So what went wrong ? how did they become such monsters ?
I have seen the programs where they show how a person is driven to committee such violence.. the major issue which causes this is the negligence of the parents.. no serious follow up on the child’s life.. do u remember the last time you sat with ur parents talking about your problems ? have you ever done that ? have they ever asked you ? did they even care ? I heard over the radio once that children turn to the internet to find advice to their personal problems.. hmm… hmmm… what a shame..
Well. remember the times where u saw on tv a kid showering bullets at a school or a uni.. parents say that they never see it coming .. said that the kid behaved normal and nothing abnormal ..they had it coming didn’t they ? well.. cant blame them also cz with the rush of work and life they forget to take care whats important to them..
Well if I want to blame I can blame the media in a way also.. the publicity they give to these murderers drive some lunatics to draw a gun or knife an innocent person on the way.. just to be in the spot light .. but there is alwys two sides to each story so media can justify by saying we were just doing our job.. to inform the public of the danger they are in.. so I guz I have to agree to that part also..
So why do we still hear about murderers ? isn’t the justice system working ..? u n I both know the answer to that question now don’t we.? u knw, whn there was a trend here in SL, killing innocent kids for ransom or over a family dispute I love .. I mean I LOVE the way the public behaved.. yea.. by chopping of the criminals body parts .. sending a clear message to all those freak shows out there what will be inline for them if they do the same..
Oh lets just wish that the word murder to get erased from our lives forever..
So the big Question..- Is there a murderer in you ? KILL IT !!
